Guest Speaker: Margaret Collins
Margaret Collins is a minister’s wife, mother, friend, and most importantly a God-fearing woman who loves to sing, praise and worship God. Sister Margaret loves the Lord, has a heart of service and loves to share and teach the Word. She is a member of St. Stephen Baptist Church, La Puente. She has served as the past President of CA WMU, and as a past Vice-President on the Executive Board of National WMU, Birmingham, AL. As a member of her local church, Margaret serves on the Women’s Council, Director of WMU Ministry, Director of Commitment Counseling, Grief Supporter for the Bereavement Ministry, is a Sunday School teacher, co-facilitates a Synergy Group with her husband, Rev. Andrew Collins. Margaret served on a mission team from her church to Mali, West Africa. Along with her husband she has served/serves as a volunteer in the Food Bank and Homeless Ministry. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Cal State LA, as well as Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree from Gateway Seminary. All of these accomplishments are done as expressions of the JOY she has in the Lord and in serving Him!
